Noctilux San Francisco
One year ago, day for day, in the streets of San Francisco with the Leica M240 and the Noctilux f/0.95 ASPH.
Sometimes, back from a short trip, I just put the files in archive and go on with other tasks. I now try to sit down, often, looking into the archives, and pull out things the pasts.
These were from the early days of my Noctilux 0.95 and focusing with this razor thin depth of field is no easy task. I am not blaming the equipment, just saying that the focus is not always where I want it to be.
I must admit it is very hard, at least for me, to pull a spot on focus with this lens but when I do, man, the result is.. Noctilux only.
This was my first trip overseas, San Francisco, with the Noctilux.
I would have thought for a second this was Nic Nolte .. :-/
Street photography is sometimes just find a spot, sit and wait. We were sitting inside Starbucks near Chinatown, San Francisco, and looking out the window.
Leica Store San Francisco is just a bit further down the road.
The King giving away his latest CD.
Not sure what kind of business this guy was into but his desk was in the middle of the street, with a big crowd around. A phone (iPhone?) and an iPad were all he needed.
Legs for days..
