Unboxing the Panasonic Leica DG SUMMILUX 15mm f1.7 ASPH
A new lens, especially when it bears the Leica name on it is always an emotional thing.
It’s not really about what it can do, well I haven’t tried it yet, but more about how it makes you feel, at least about how it makes me feels.
I saw this little guy in the window and while I was testing the Leica T, my thoughts were more focused on this little guy.
It is no more secrets that I am now a micro four thirds user and when I like Olympus for their cameras, I like more Panasonic for their lenses, especially when it’s called Summilux, Leica or ASPH … It’s just a personal thing.
Some may say that Panasonic are a bit more expensive than Olympus ones but at least, you get what you pay for, or sometime you don’t get what you pay for (I am thinking at Olympus lens hoods as optional add ons ..)
Anyway, before any frames were fired, here is the thing that I’m talking about.
The Panasonic Leica DG SUMMILUX 15mm f/1.7 ASPH. What a weird focal length? Who cares.
iPhone images of the Panasonic Leica DG SUMMILUX 15mm f/1.7 ASPH. The “real world” images pulled from the lens will be coming in another post, shortly.
